About Our Products
What is Zellige?
Zellige is a traditional Moroccan mosaic tilework made from individually hand-cut geometric tiles set in plaster. It has been a distinctive element of Moroccan architecture since the 10th century. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans using techniques passed down through generations.
Are your products handmade?
Yes, all our zellige pieces are handcrafted by master artisans in Morocco. Each tile is hand-cut and hand-placed, making every piece unique with subtle variations that showcase the human touch and craftsmanship.
What materials are used in your products?
Our zellige artwork is made from natural clay sourced from the Fes region of Morocco. The clay is shaped, fired, glazed with natural pigments, and fired again before being cut into geometric shapes and assembled into patterns.
How durable are zellige products?
Zellige is extremely durable and has been used in Moroccan architecture for centuries. When properly installed and maintained, zellige can last for generations. It is resistant to fading, heat, and moisture, making it suitable for various applications including wet areas.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Delivery times vary by location. Standard collection items typically ship within 3-5 business days and delivery can take anywhere from 3-28 business days depending on your location. Custom orders have different timeframes, which will be discussed during your consultation.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information that allows you to monitor the progress of your delivery.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, either through repair, replacement, or refund.

Can I order custom designs?

What is the process for custom orders?
The custom order process begins with a consultation to discuss your vision and requirements. We then create design concepts for your approval, followed by production once the design is finalized. Throughout the process, we provide updates and work closely with you to ensure your satisfaction.
How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders typically take 6-12 weeks from design approval to completion, depending on the complexity and size of the project. Large-scale projects may require additional time.
Do you offer installation for custom projects?
Yes, we offer professional installation services in select locations. For international clients, we can recommend qualified installers or provide detailed installation instructions. Installation services are quoted separately from the product cost.
Care & Maintenance
How do I clean and maintain zellige?
Clean zellige with a soft cloth or sponge and mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acidic products, and harsh chemicals that can damage the glaze. For sealed surfaces, resealing may be necessary every few years depending on use.
Is zellige suitable for wet areas like bathrooms?
Yes, zellige has been used in fountains, hammams, and bathrooms for centuries. When properly installed and sealed, it performs excellently in wet environments. We recommend professional installation for wet areas to ensure proper waterproofing.
Can zellige be used outdoors?
Zellige can be used outdoors in certain climates. In regions with freezing temperatures, special considerations for installation are necessary. Please consult with us about your specific location and application to determine suitability.
Will the colors fade over time?
Zellige is highly resistant to fading. The colors are created through a firing process that makes them permanent. With proper care, the vibrant colors of your zellige artwork will remain beautiful for generations.
Returns & Warranties
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on standard collection items within 14 days of delivery if the item is in its original condition. Custom orders are final sale. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for complete details.
Do you offer a warranty?
We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Can I exchange my purchase for a different item?
We offer exchanges for standard collection items within 14 days of delivery, subject to availability. Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
